SafariKeePassXC ships as a small macOS app that hosts the Safari extension and acts as the bridge to KeePassXC. All communication uses KeePassXC's official browser integration protocol and is end-to-end encrypted (NaCl / libsodium) — the same mechanism the official KeePassXC browser extensions use in Chrome and Firefox.
Everything happens locally on your Mac. Your passwords never leave your machine, nothing is sent to any server, and the extension itself stores no secrets — every credential comes fresh from your unlocked KeePassXC database, and access has to be approved in KeePassXC once, per database. While minimized, the app tucks itself away as a small key icon in your menu bar.

Getting started
Install & launch
Download and install SafariKeePassXC, then launch it once.
Enable the extension
In Safari → Settings → Extensions, turn it on and allow website access.
Connect
Click the key icon in Safari's toolbar, choose "Connect to KeePassXC", and confirm in KeePassXC.
